老家河南——禹州钧瓷，传承千年窑火 Hometown?Henan—— Yuzhou Jun Porcelain, Inheritance of Thousands of Years of Kiln Fire
Chinese ceramic culture has a long history, among which Jun porcelain is the wonders of “One color goes into the kiln, and thousands of colors come out of the kiln”. Among the four famous porcelain in China, Yuzhou Jun porcelain is famous for the reputation of “national treasure”, and is known as “even if you have a lot of money, it is not as valuable as a piece of Jun porcelain”.
The firing technique of Jun porcelain began in the Tang Dynasty and flourished in the Song Dynasty, especially the “Emperor Kiln of Jun” set up in the period of Emperor Huizong of the Northern Song Dynasty. The kiln fire of Shenhou ancient town has been passed for thousands of years, and the Jun porcelain technique has been passed down from generation to generation. It has formed a complete knowledge system from feeding, blank porcelain making to glaze formula. The seventy-two processes embody the craftsman’s awe and wisdom of nature.
Jun porcelain is not only an art treasure, but also the golden key to cultural economy. Centering on the strategy of “Jun Porcelain+”, Yuzhou has built a whole industrial chain integrating intangible cultural heritage research, process experience and e-commerce sales, with an annual output value exceeding 8 billion yuan. Shenhou ancient town was selected as a national characteristic town, where more than one million tourists visit here. The industry of Jun Porcelain has employed more than 20,000 people, truly realizing the integration of culture and tourism.
