Our Chinese nation, with its industriousness wisdom, has created a long and over-lasting history and a rich and colorful clothing culture. As a Chinese people, we are supposed to understand the traditional culture and realize its importance.
Today, I want to say something about Chinese clothing culture. That is Qi Pao.
Qi Pao, its English name is Cheongsam. It is a kind of elegant Chinese clothes. Many Chinese ladies will dress cheongsam in the great occasions. Sometimes, Chinese beauties wear a cheongsam to show the Chinese style to the world, Cheongsam makes the body of lady looks so beautiful.
In the fashion week, more and more Chinese features have been used. Cheongsam style is favored by a lot of famous designers. Nowadays, more and more foreign women are wearing cheongsam.
By telling the story about cheongsam, the purpose is to let people understand one of the Chinese clothing culture, enhancing the cultural and national confidence of young students. At the same time, we will also let foreign friends to truly have a comprehensive understanding of China and Chinese culture, let the Chinese clothing culture spread to the world, and improve the soft power of Chinese culture.

比如中国传统服饰--旗袍。英文名是“Cheongsam”，这是一种优雅的中国服装。旗袍是民国的国服，盛行于三四十年代。行家把二十世纪二十年代看作旗袍流行的起点，三十年代它到了顶峰状态，很快从发源地上海风靡至中国各地。旗袍追随着时代，承载着文明，以其流动的旋律、潇洒的画意与浓郁的诗情，表现出中华女性贤淑、典雅、温柔、清丽的性情与气质。许多中国女士在重大的场合会穿着旗袍。有时，中国佳丽会穿着旗袍向世界展示中国的风格，旗袍让女性的体型看起来很漂亮。在时装周，可以用到越来越多的中国元素。旗袍风格深受很多设计师的喜爱。现在，越来越多的外国女性穿旗袍。
讲述旗袍文化，目的是让人们了解中国服装文化，增强学生的文化自信。同时，也让外国朋友全面了解中国文化，让中国服装文化传播到世界，提升中国文化的软实力。
